About Seaholm District
The Seaholm District of Austin, Texas used to be an industrial neighborhood before transforming itself into a trendy urban neighborhood. This entire area has been revamped and reimagined with new infrastructure set in place throughout 2016 and 2017. One of the biggest revamps of the neighborhood is the repurposing of the decommissioned Seaholm Power Plant, which is now the home to local residents, office space, and retail shops within the landmark building.
Located directly along the Colorado River, this district also has fantastic views across the water and of the city of Austin itself. If you ever find yourself in Austin, have a look around the Seaholm District and see what all the fuss is about.
