About Brighton
Brighton used to be its own quaint little town, but eventually Boston grew and overtook it. Now, it has become a lovely residential neighborhood of this bustling city. It is to the northwest of Boston proper and is the namesake of a popular city in England. At one point, Brighton had been nestled within the city of Cambridge and had been given the affectionate nickname, “Little Cambridge.”
Brighton, however, became a city of its own and thrives today. It is the home of many residents who attend Boston College, which makes it the perfect choice for young entrepreneurs or young families to settle in. While the vibe here is old town Americana, with quaint gardens, green lawns, and backyard bbq’s, there is plenty to do with various restaurants and bars dotting the landscape. Brighton prides itself on being one of the safest neighborhoods in Boston.
